The process

A clear path.
From hello to live.

No mandatory discovery calls. A plan in writing, one organized intake, and two clear revision rounds.

01 How it happens

Less back-and-forth.
More getting it done.

A short email to begin. Structured forms for the details and feedback. Written approvals at each step, with no mandatory calls.

01

Agree the plan.

Start with a short email. We confirm your pages, hosting, editing needs, price, and schedule in writing, then send your deposit invoice through Stripe.

02

Complete your intake.

After the deposit clears, complete a branded intake form with your business details, page content, images, and launch requirements. We check that everything is ready before booking the build.

03

Review and refine.

We build your site and send a branded review link. Use the revision form to send one consolidated list per round. Two rounds are included in the agreed scope.

04

Launch in your account.

After written approval and cleared final payment, we publish to your compatible GoDaddy hosting and provide your files, account details, and handoff guide.

Days 1–2

Build, internal review, and preparation of your first preview.

Days 3–5

Your feedback and two consolidated revision rounds.

Days 6–7

Final approval, cleared payment, launch checks, and handoff.

*Seven business days is our target, even when a site is ready sooner. It is not a guaranteed deadline. The clock starts after your deposit and readiness check are complete. It depends on prompt feedback, approvals, payment, and account access; delays move the launch date.

Before the build

One intake form.
A ready-to-build brief.

After the deposit clears, we send a branded intake form that brings your content and launch requirements together. You don’t need to scatter your brief across emails. We confirm readiness before the production schedule starts.

  1. 01

    Business & page content

Your business details, audience, services, service areas, contact information, agreed pages, and the text for each page.

  2. 02

    Branding & images

Your logo if you have one, photos, design references, and confirmation that your materials are accurate and yours to use.

  3. 03

    Hosting & editing preferences

Your domain, exact GoDaddy hosting product, contact-form inbox, and whether you need to edit content yourself. We arrange delegated access separately—no passwords in the form.

  4. 04

    Approvals & timing

One decision-maker, your target date, availability for feedback, and any outstanding materials. Missing items are resolved before we confirm the build start.

Two rounds, kept simple

Your feedback.
In one clear list.

01 / Review

Explore the preview.

We send a branded review link and identify the version you’re reviewing. Check every page on your phone and computer before gathering feedback.

02 / Request changes

Submit one revision form.

Combine everyone’s feedback into one list per round. Name the page and section, describe the change, and include exact replacement text or marked screenshots where helpful.

03 / Approve

Review the update.

We apply the in-scope changes and send an updated preview. Repeat for round two, then confirm final approval in writing. Additional scope is quoted before work begins.

03 Good questions

A few things
worth knowing.

Still wondering about something?

Just send an email
What exactly does CA$500 cover?

Up to five standard pages, custom responsive design, a standard contact form, essential on-page search setup, two consolidated revision rounds, pre-launch checks, one agreed deployment destination, and a documented handoff. Domain, hosting, third-party subscriptions, add-ons, and applicable tax are separate. Online stores, booking systems, memberships, and self-editing websites need a separate discussion and written quote.

Do we have to get on a call?

No mandatory calls. We handle the initial conversation and approvals by email, gather the full brief through a branded intake form, and collect feedback through a revision form. A call is optional if it would genuinely help.

How long will it take?

Our standard website targets seven business days after your deposit clears and the intake, content, assets, and required account access pass the readiness check. The initial build and internal review are concentrated into Days 1–2, leaving time for feedback, two revision rounds, final checks, payment, and launch. Your site may be ready sooner, but we plan around the seven-business-day schedule. Missing materials, scope changes, account setup, or delayed feedback or payment move the launch date. We confirm your schedule in writing.

What goes in the intake form?

Business and contact details, service areas, your services, the agreed page list, page text, logo and image assets, design preferences, contact-form destination, domain and hosting details, editing preferences, decision-maker, and target launch date. You confirm the accuracy of the content and your right to use supplied materials. Required account access is arranged separately—never put passwords, card details, or recovery codes in a form.

How do the two revision rounds work?

For each round, review the linked preview version and submit one complete revision form. Identify the page and section, explain the change, and include exact replacement text or a clearly marked screenshot when useful. We complete the agreed changes and send an updated preview. New pages, new features, redesigns, and changes outside the agreed scope are quoted before work begins. Final approval is confirmed in writing.

Can I make changes myself?

The standard CA$500 custom-coded website does not include a visual editing dashboard. If you want to update content yourself, tell us before the build so we can quote a self-editable WordPress website with a handoff guide. Adding self-editing after launch may require a separately quoted conversion or rebuild; it is not a switch we can simply turn on. Otherwise, request optional maintenance, one-off changes, or help from another developer.

Who owns and pays for the hosting?

You own your domain and GoDaddy hosting account, and you pay GoDaddy directly. We confirm a compatible hosting product before the build and help with setup using delegated access where available—not your main password. Domain registration alone does not include hosting. A different hosting arrangement is considered only if the project needs it and you approve it.

What does optional maintenance include?

Ongoing website care: backups, routine updates appropriate to your setup, website and contact-form checks, ordinary fixes to existing site functions, email support, and a monthly summary. You also get two consolidated content-update requests per month, each covering up to two existing pages. A request can combine related changes to text, photos, prices, menus, or promotions. One short section using an existing layout is included per month. Routine care and covered fault fixes do not use up your content allowance. New pages, redesigns, new features, and work outside the agreed scope are quoted separately. We confirm the fee and platform-specific coverage in writing; hosting remains separately paid by you.

What happens if I do not choose maintenance?

Your website stays in your own hosting account. Declining or cancelling maintenance does not take it offline, provided you keep your hosting and domain active. After handoff or the end of maintenance, you manage hosting payments, renewals, account security, backups, and future updates, or appoint another developer. We provide the completed files and a handoff guide, and remove our access unless you authorize ongoing work. Any agreed correction period remains as set out in your written scope.

How do payments work?

Stripe is our preferred payment method. After you approve the written scope, we email a branded invoice with a secure Stripe-hosted payment page for the 50% deposit. The remaining 50%, approved extras, and applicable tax are invoiced after approval and must clear before launch or handoff. Interac e-Transfer is available by arrangement as a backup. Hosting is paid directly to GoDaddy; never send card details by email or through the intake form.
